There have been only two votes since January 2020 in which more than one council member voted against the administration: one was extending the local COVID-19 curfew imposed in April 2020 and another was against some point of procedure before the 2021 budget vote. Two or three members voted against each, and it is apparent from those “nays” that the longer the tenure, the more supplicant the elected official.
